Exhibit and Display at this years National Heritage Day as part of Ballina Salmon Festival 2023
Ballina Salmon Festival is delighted to announce the return of its flagship event, National Heritage Day, planned for Wednesday 12th July 2023.
This organiser’s of this year’s National Heritage Day have refocused the theme of heritage and are putting great effort into creating an authentic Heritage Day experience for visitors, locals and participants to enjoy and immerse themselves in, as it was so successful in 2022.
The four main streets of the town will be closed off as usual but will have a strict heritage concentration. Participants and those vendors on the streets will be restricted to heritage themed activities and experiences for patrons to participate in, as they wander the streets, soak up the atmosphere, listen to traditional music and learn about many ancient crafts passed down from generations.
Commercial Vendors
The commercial vendors, however, have not been forgotten in the revived Heritage Day plans, and the organisers have facilitated those vendors by creating a specific area, also earmarked as a dedicated food and market court.
We would also encourage vendors to dress up for the day that’s in it to create an enjoyable experience for visitors to the town on National Heritage Day.
